“Before Cara, I felt this doubt and fear about myself.

“Through my eyes, I couldn’t see success in my future. I didn’t have the motivation to search for a job on my own, but I knew I wanted a job and had to get back into the job search. My biggest fear was that I wouldn’t get any interviews.

“But then I walked into Cara, a place with resources, career coaching, transformations and motivations. I was able to relax while waiting for interviews by listening to the words we say in Motivations every day “not yet, but it’s coming!” That saying has kept me motivated and encouraged me to push forward.

“The Cara community is great. I have met people with all different backgrounds. I thought I would be the only one with a master’s degree, but I learned so many people’s stories who had bachelor’s or master’s degrees.

“People come from all walks of life, but they have things in common. We all need that job.

“Going through Transformations classes, I learned to look at my life through new eyes. I had the transferable skills all along that are important to getting a job. I had buried those skills inside of me before I came to Cara.

“Now, I’m letting my skills shine and breakthrough for everyone to see. I’m amplifying my voice to show my worth.

“Cara gave me the motivation – encouragement, empowerment, and the belief in ever-lasting success. I have 100% confidence in myself. I love helping others, and my dream is to be successful in all my future endeavors.

“If I could go back and tell myself something before I started Cara, I would reassure myself to stick it out because you will succeed. What was always inside of me will come to light.”
