We work with those whose motivation matches ours

By sharing the same goals as Cara, the synergy created among all partners powers success. We align with businesses that want to hire, organizations and strategic partners that want to affect change, and individuals who want to do their part. Here are a few of the inspired, compassionate, and motivated we are proud to call partners:
Chicago's Hottest Gaming Action
Rivers Casino, the premier entertainment and gaming destination in Chicagoland, has employed dozens of Cara participants as a trifecta supporter – training in hospitality, hiring for jobs with great benefits, and providing generous financial support. In 2017, we honored Rivers Casino for their commitment to our participants and their search for real and lasting success.
Shared Commitment to Quality
Northwestern Medicine, one of Chicago’s premier integrated academic health systems, provides exceptional opportunities for Cara’s motivated job-seekers. Their commitment to hiring a workforce dedicated to exceptional customer service and patient care has led to two of our participants achieving Northwestern’s most exclusive employee designation, the Patients First award.
Building Value
ABM, one of the nation’s leading providers of facility solutions, is a strong and multi-dimensional partner to Cara and the certificate they award to graduates of their proprietary commercial janitorial course is widely respected within the industry. We honored ABM in 2014 for their unparalleled contribution as a financial investor and hiring and training partner.
Investment In Communities & Lives
The Habitat Company is a full-service residential real estate company committed to the highest standards in management, service, and development. In business for over four decades, Habitat is an anchor partner of our social enterprise, Cara Connects, providing not only entry-level positions for Cara participants to begin their careers, but also helping them advance into management.
America's Healthiest Grocery Store
Whole Foods is proud to not only be America’s healthiest grocery store but a great partner to Cara. Their store location in Englewood, a former food desert, demonstrates their commitment to the community, home to many Cara participants, and their Prepared Foods Training program provides a unique training and resume building opportunity.
Linking People, Jobs, & Communities
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) runs an innovative program to employ people with significant barriers to employment through their Second Chance Program. Because of their commitment to provide training and employment to people facing obstacles so they can become more competitive in the workplace, Cara was proud to honor the CTA with The Good Neighbor Award in 2013.
