Numbers are as much a part of our brand as are our Motivations. They provide us with a tangible way to evaluate our effectiveness in meeting our mission. We look at numbers regularly to ensure that we maintain a high standard of results for participants, partners, and stakeholders. And, we use numbers to make informed decisions about our processes along the way. We measure participants’ progress over at least one year and, because it sometimes takes a few short hops via temporary job placement before finally making that big leap into a permanent job, a multi-year time horizon as well. We measure by cohort (to assess nuance in new populations of participants coming into the program). And each year, we publish our results to the public so that we are transparent about our outcomes and are held accountable in meeting our mission. Unless otherwise noted, the reporting period for the numbers called out throughout our website, including this page, reflect summative data from the previous fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). Have a question about our metrics? Leave us your contact information and we’ll be happy to connect with you. We invite you to take a deeper dive into Cara’s work by taking a look at our numbers and welcome any questions you may have about our metrics.
